The purpose of this axis is to study the mechanisms of GTN-induced sensitization to death in docetaxel chemoresistant prostatic tumor cell lines by investigating:

  • The regulation of clusterin by GTN, a docetaxel chemoresitance biomarker, in human prostatic tumor cells,
  • The impact of GTN-induced decrease in clusterin secretion on the cytotoxic effect of GTN,
  • The GTN-induced modulations of cytokines in prostatic tumor cells (level of synthesis and nitration),
  • The effect of GTN on the expression of biomarkers of chemoresistance to docetaxel.
